What We’re Building at i-GarageQ

Our direction: connect automotive information and service workflows around the people who use them.

Automotive after-sales brings together people with different responsibilities. A vehicle owner wants to understand what needs attention. A workshop needs relevant service context. Manufacturers and parts suppliers work with different information and operational requirements.

Based in Canada, i-GarageQ is developing an AI-powered automotive after-sales platform with a focus on the information and workflows that connect these participants.

This is a statement of direction. The platform is under development, and the experiences shown on our website illustrate intended capabilities rather than a generally available commercial service.

Begin with information people can use

Our starting point is the vehicle and its service context: maintenance information, recorded work, relevant documents and the questions that arise around them.

We want to explore how these elements can be organized into a more understandable view. A useful record should help someone identify what happened, where that information came from and what needs further attention.

That approach puts everyday questions ahead of a long feature list.

Connect the work around the record

Information becomes more useful when it relates to a task. An owner reviewing a recommendation and a workshop preparing for a visit may need different views of the same underlying event.

Our intended direction is to connect those workflows while respecting differences in role, authorization and responsibility. Connecting participants does not mean giving everyone unrestricted access to the same information.

Develop AI around evidence

We see potential for AI to help people navigate information, understand terminology and identify relevant context. Its role must be designed with clear limits.

The questions guiding that work include how to preserve source information, show uncertainty and keep professional review central to consequential decisions. These are development priorities, not claims of validated performance or completed integrations.

Learn from real service conversations

Our founding team brings experience across automotive engineering, manufacturing, operations, technology and business development. We want that experience to inform practical questions—and remain open to what others working in the industry can teach us.

We welcome conversations with repair businesses, manufacturers, parts suppliers and technology partners about where information becomes difficult to find, where handoffs break down and which tasks most need clearer context.

Share progress with substance

Through Insights, we will share our perspectives and publish company updates when there is specific progress to report. We will distinguish an idea being explored from a capability that has been tested or made available.

Our ambition is a more connected automotive after-sales experience. Building toward it starts with understanding the work people already do.
